    I think there are cameras on both sides and depending on which is facing the markings on the road will depend on what side is monitioring (aka: scamming!!!)

    ... on looking again it's a dual carrigaeway so can and will cover both lanes in pic when facing the way it is, it can be changed to opposite lanes, ie: the direction/side the car in the pic is going

    GATSO camera's are not type approved for foward facing speed detections so relax.
