Avoid https://www.looking4dvds.co.uk aswell as Filmnight IMO - jokers who sell things as in stock when they only order the stock themselves when they take your order. If they don't get the stock themselves they keep your money until they can get hold of the stock, if ever.

I'm still out of pocket for £10.00 from looking4dvds - and they are selling the SAME dvd for £30.00 now - obviously a scam
  • Hello has anyone used Filmnight lately. These comments are a little old and I was wondering if their Customer Service had improved. Quidco cashback is good and their prices!

    Thanks
  • Filmnight are ok although not as competitive with their prices as other etailers.
Never argue with an idiot. He will bring you down to his level and beat you with experience.

  • DO NOT USE FILMNIGHT.

Their Customer Service is a shambles, they lie about the availability of titles and they are hopelessly slow at despatching goods, and have been known not to honour the prices quoted on their website.

In all my years of buying DVDs, they are far and away the shabbiest retailer I've ever come across and the savings they claim you can make by using them do not in any way offset the potential frustration you'll suffer from their CS.

In fact, I would say they're the worst retailer I've EVER come across on the web, not just in the field of DVDs.

To be avoided like the plague.

they do have good sales in January though, but then again..you never get whats on sale as it's gone so quickly.
  • I used Filmnight about a month ago - the price was great and I received two DVD's within 3 days...the other DVD I ordered was a pre-order for Cars which is released next week.

I thought the service was fantastic and would have happily used them again. I was full of confidence about my pre-order...until I read this thread...

That said, their service cannot be half as bad as the experiences I have had with Amazon...I will take my chances!
