Has anyone used Filmnight? (DVD shop)

I ordered LOTR Return of the King from them, it says it is being despatched, even though it is not released until tomorrow.

(it did say it was out of stock but think its because it wasn't released yet)

So it should be with me in 7 days apparently,

I hope it comes, it was a good price. Not had any probs with them but don't want to speak too soon!

Thought I should do filmnight.com justice by letting you know: I received my LOTR: ROTK extended version box set today - one day ahead of the advertised release date on the website - at the best price found on the web.

I too orderedd LOTR Return of the King extended DVD on advanced order at FilmNight.
It came last Thursday 9 December one day ahead of the release date.
Seems good to me. My son ordered in advance from play.com and has paid £5 or £6 more.
He is obviously not as canny as me

Ditto with Lord Of The Rings for me. Had it on pre-order for £16 (easily the cheapest on offer) and it arrived a day early! Have placed some other orders with them as well recently so I'm hoping I don't have these problems!!

Emailed Filmnight this morning.
I phoned them and got an answer machine:-
"Due to massive increase in support phone calls it is quicker if we only reply to emails for the time being."


What sucks is they took the cash from my card immediately. I wanted this a a gift to the missus so the pressure is on to get a copy from the local shops too.

Avoid this outfit. >:(

I ordered LOTR ROTK in mid November expecting it to be delivered either on or very close to the release date of 10th December. I got nothing until today ten days after the release date. It's not all bad though as I don't seem to have been charged for it yet. Did they take other peoples money before despatch or has anyone else not been charged for their order yet? ???

Mine arrived yesterday. I ordered it 3 days prior to release. So a bit slow but got it in the end. Wouldn't have watched it yet anyhow. Christmas post is generally slow anyway...
