Poll: Who Will You Be Voting For In The Next General Election?

Labour have reduced OUR country (yes, yours and mine!) to a laughing stock! What was once GREAT BRITAIN is now LITTLE BRITAIN!
We are spiralling downwards and are on a par with a third world country in many ways!
It's an outrage that this government have forced upon us thousands and thousands of asylum seekers (who are NOT true asylum seekers - they just want to sponge off of YOU and ME!). This government put them up in houses which WE need and they give them PRIORITY!
This country has become a cesspit. We are now a very poor country in terrifying debt and the High Streets will soon be looking like Ghost Towns full of empty decaying tombs!
BECAUSE of BROWN many of us live in fear because we now have an understaffed, inept police force (some of whom themselves have criminal convictions!) and soaring crime where criminals laugh at the pathetic law!
We are taxed very dearly by this government and we are spied on, even our DUSTBINS are spied on! - we are robbed as motorists, we have a failing NHS, shockingly bad state schools, overflowing prisons, taxed to the hilt on everything (our council tax is disgustingly high considering the sloppy services we have) - some councils only collect your rubbish every 2 weeks!!
Yet the government employ people to do uneccessary jobs (like walking around counting lamposts - I kid you not!) because they want to be seen as giving equal opportunities to people who actually aren't up to the job!
This government favours people who they deem to be 'different' (how patronising is that?!) people who are gay, or black, disabled - they'll be given the jobs in the local council - even if they're not up to it. NO WONDER OUR STANDARDS HAVE NOSEDIVED!....and if you are a non-English speaking immigrant you'll be sure of being given priority in healthcare - you'll be fastracked! And before anyone accuses me of racism - I'm not racist! But I'm sick of being treated like a second class citizen simply because
I'm white, able-bodied, straight, and can speak English!
If the truth be known Brown and his bunch of rotten eggs despise the citizens of this country. They take the p%ss out of us and manipulate thick folk to vote for them. Brown is getting RICH by destroying us, just as Blair and his sponging big gobbed wife has!
Blair was actually a Tory in Red Tie - and Brown is too. But as the old saying goes, you can put a pig in a suit but you'll not stop it grunting!
LABOUR has RUINED our country! And WE have to pay for their dreadful mistakes!
Very good post. It's a pity that we don't have a real alternative party as I fear the Tories will carry on the PC Brigade type stuff if they ever get back into power.0 -
I will be voting for Lib Dems on the rather sad basis that they're not labour or tory. Probably not the best motive for a vote, but I do feel obliged to vote and that would appear to be my best choice.
Where's Guy Fawkes when you need him?:rolleyes:0 -
I see you have the typical lefty respect for free-speech! (Presumably you get along fine with the racists and mysoginists in the Respect party though.)
The problem with allowing the BNP to sh*t all over this board, without expressing concern or shock, is that it is inadvertently suggesting that it's acceptable, in today's society, to display the bigoted characteristics that caused travesties like slavery, genocides, persecution etc.
This is supposed to be a progressive forward-looking society - the human race hasn't suffered for hundreds of years for all of it to be undone again by a minority of frankly !!!!!! individuals who are upset and confused and lap up the blinding rhetoric of the BNP, believing that the cause of their woes is everything unknown to them.0 -

I think you'll find that people who are seen as 'different' are discriminated against by an awful lot of people, and the various anti discrimination Acts just try to remove the disadvantage of the 'difference'. And if you feel your nose to be a bit out of joint because the playing field has levelled slightly, then try and imagine a world where you are hated for being white and straight and male; I would doubt that you can imagine the damage that actual prejudice does.
I'm no lover of the labour party, but they have attempted to reduce discrimination, and I applaud them for that. God knows they've beggared up most things!0 -

Do you even have a clue what the BNP are? And i'm not referring to what the SUN tells you they are!
I mean seriously, your post is everything that is wrong with the UK and more.I'll have some cheese please, bob.0 -
Yes and if you did, you may end up getting the sack from the Labour Party. Can you do us all a favour and disclose your vested interests in a signature of sorts?
I have no vested interests. Quite the contrary, in fact - I'm likely to pay more tax under a Labour Government, for example, so if I were thinking purely selfishly (which seems to be the way you go about things), for my own personal gain, I'd be voting Tory. You obviously have no principles then!
No, certainly none that you would recognise as such, evidently. I start with the assumption that all humans deserve to be treated as equals, and receive the same services regardless of their race, gender, wealth, or any other factor; I believe that the State has more incentive to provide these services to the adequate level, rather than profit-seeking corporations; and I believe that those who have more advantage in life, be it down to luck, skill, and hard-work, should subsidise those who are less fortunate.0 -

:rotfl: It amuses me that you think I read the Sun. I'm not a man, for a start, so the odds were never going to high anyway.
And yes, I do have a "clue". Not only is the BNP's manifesto offensive (to suggest that a white worker should have more rights than an equally-skilled, or potentially better skilled, individual of another race, is, I'm afraid, racism that they haven't even bothered to thinly veil); but the freudian slips that some of its representatives seem to come up with don't do much for their credibility.
Still, I suppose you can laugh (to keep from crying) when a man decides to announce (in all this evident wisdom) that having one's handbag stolen is worse than being raped. What a relief to know!0 -

None of the above are NuLabour principles? So how can they fit in with yours? I've higlighted one point you made which I can only reply with PFI.
So yeah, I don't recognise your take on NuLabour principles because you haven't got a clue what they are!
So for how long were you locked up in that exclusive establishment?0 -

Well you seem to sh*t all over this board with your NuLab twaddle; twaddle that I find offensive.
But just to take it down to your level, I would label the Labour party, supporters and hard-core voters as retards that do nothing but spout out rhetoric that potrays the Thatcher govt as some sort of Hitlerian Leviathan? And by believing that Thatcher and the Tories were or are the causes of their woes!0 -

Under a PFI, the private sector provides infrastructure, and some basic operational services - the public sector retains control of the provision of core services.
But please, if you want to try to make out like I don't know what I've based my opinions on, keep banging your head against the wall! :T0
