Poll: Who Will You Be Voting For In The Next General Election?

I'd like to vote Lib Dem but they didn't field a candidate in my constituency... well, ever, as far as I can remember. Bloody hell, what's the world coming to, am I going to have to resort to actually getting involved and joining a party? (:p)
I wish to god David Davies would institute a coup in the Tories, I could vote for him. We could do with someone to speak up for our rights before we all wind up with electronic tracking tag implants and barcodes tattooed on our necks.
Cameron would just be gurning and grinning and looking for the photo op. Bloody soft posh get.0 -
It makes me laugh hearing people slate one party or the other.
I was born in the very early 70's so as a kid growing up I didn't give a monkeys about politics or what government was in or out.(what kid does?)
When I was a teenager and looking at entering the big bad real world of adult life, the Tories were in power and had been since 79. so when the 97 election came about I known nothing but Tory power, and thanks to high intrest rates and poll tax etc, regardless how good or bad the Tories were, there was no way I was going to vote Tories.
Change could only be a good thing, right?.
The same is happening now people born in the mid 80's have really known nothing but Labour rule and with everthing thats going on with Labour and their failings, the Iraq war, the economy etc, the chances of them winning the next election will be slim, for no other reason than that there is a generation of people that no nothing else but Labour and their demise.
They are all as bad and good as each other in my opinion. they all make a hash of things they all make good and bad decisions, they all try and tell us only what they want to. but when you at the top there is only one place to go! Down!
They are all taught to have a smile that would should come with a warning, avoid giving straight answers and look genuine when lying.
In the words of the great Billy Connolly " the desire to become a Politician, should bar you for life for ever coming one"0 -
I am no fan of the Tories either, not the last Government anyway, I can just about Remember the dire wages on offer, £1.80 an hour with no minimum wage , I kid you not !! The Less well off were almost presecuted... So not everything Labour has done is bad..far from it,ALthough its shameful failure to build social houseing to any extent is a true Betrayal .
But after a Decade or more in charge some of the more Marxist Inclinations seem to be more apparent, not least the way the Police have been so politicised ... Every Government comes to the end of the line at some point..Labour has reached it IMO ..
A good Summary IMO !0 -
vote for me. my fiscal policy is : the bankers shall be held personally responsible.
Assets shall be seized from the defunct banks and sold to compensate the savers, the shareholders, those employees made redundant starting with those on lowest salaries. The boards of directors shall serve prison terms reflecting their bonus payments from the last 10 years.
I'll reintroduce national service and we'll invade Poland. it almost worked for the last guy."Gold is the money of kings; silver is the money of gentlemen; barter is the money of peasants; but debt is the money of slaves." - Norm Franz0 -

Why include the shareholders? They are part of the problem.
It is afterall, the shareholders who vote the Board in. It is striving for ever-increasing shareholder profit that makes the banks greedy and leads to them taking unnecessary risks.
GGThere are 10 types of people in this world. Those who understand binary and those that don't.0 -
There's little doubt Labour is out of time, and I feel we need a change of government, as such a Tory government will happen in 2010.
That's not to say people's opinions of Cameron are very high, personally I think he's a moron."An arrogant and self-righteous Guardian reading tvv@t".
!!!!!! is all that about?0 -

What ridiculous things people post here! Whatever you might think of him, to say that he is a moron is way over the top and completely out of order.I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.0 -
Labour have reduced OUR country (yes, yours and mine!) to a laughing stock! What was once GREAT BRITAIN is now LITTLE BRITAIN!
We are spiralling downwards and are on a par with a third world country in many ways!
It's an outrage that this government have forced upon us thousands and thousands of asylum seekers (who are NOT true asylum seekers - they just want to sponge off of YOU and ME!). This government put them up in houses which WE need and they give them PRIORITY!
This country has become a cesspit. We are now a very poor country in terrifying debt and the High Streets will soon be looking like Ghost Towns full of empty decaying tombs!
BECAUSE of BROWN many of us live in fear because we now have an understaffed, inept police force (some of whom themselves have criminal convictions!) and soaring crime where criminals laugh at the pathetic law!
We are taxed very dearly by this government and we are spied on, even our DUSTBINS are spied on! - we are...
