  • I sometimes feel I miss out a bit on part of the whole Christmas 'thing' because it must be 4 years now since i've done any Christmas shopping in town and I don't hear the salvation army playing etc It's when I think of the chaos though and the queueing etc, I'm glad I am missing out!

    I shall have to brave the hordes for the next 2 days with ill child in tow or there will be no Xmas in my house this year:rolleyes:
    but at least its an incentive to get in and back out again sharpish:grin:

    I was at Tesco at 8 this morning, and it was very empty ;)

    Tomorrow night I am going to the village carol service on the village green around the Christmas tree, we will have mulled wine and a mince pie and sing carols..............I will probably cry but I will thoroughly enjoy myself.:D

    Thats the part of Christmas that I actually like.............totally free aswell:rolleyes:

  • I popped into the little Somerfield near me and there was 1 till open with 1 person in front of me earlier.

    I guess it will start getting mad overnight tonight in the 24 hour stores and then on until around lunchtime Wednesday.
