Hi everyone
Happy birthday Rachelmk!
Candy- best wishes for your nan xx
Not much for me today, too near to Christmas to be worrying now!
Transferred 4p into savings - balance was £50.05 and can't afford to transfer a whole £10!
Free 50p to play on Gala Bingo, look out for a BOGOF 5p game.
Daily scratch card - 10p! 70p now (I think)
Brought lunch in forgetting I'm meeting a friend for lunch - will just buy something very small and eat salad when I get back to my desk.
BF's Valentines presents arrived! Ordered them the other day when there was a £5 MOC doing the rounds, so have put those away - all goes towards saving money in 09!
Check CC statement
That's all, have good days everyone xx0 -
Hi Everyone
Candy - Sending your nan, mum and you hugs. It's horrible when people you expect to take some time don't.
mbaz - half way eh! What a great feeling you must have. Make sure you remember how good this feels!
Well - I've got a bit of a story that will make you laugh. I was very poorly on Saturday - temperature and everything.:o So being sensible I stayed in bed and thought I'd surf the net inbetween sleeps. At about lunchtime I got a bit hungry so I made some toast and tea. (I never drink tea unless I am poorly). Somehow I managed to spill tea in my laptop!!!!!! After mass panic and stress and calling the techie boys in my life, I couldn't cope anymore and went off to watch Miracle on 34th St. I managed to clear most of the tea out but the computer was doing some very strange things. I now know I should have shut it down straight away.
Currently I have most letters but am missing about 6 so can't really function very well. I am hoping my keyboard will dry out soon and I will be able to use it properly as I often use it to work from home.
Thankfully the tea doesn't seem to have killed the computer although it is much slower at getting started. I may have to purchase a USB keyboard but that would keep me from having to buy a new computer for a little while longer as that will push me back from my DFW status.
What a weekend!
Anyway I guess I should list what I need to do today!- pick up parcel from Post office
- washing on. Put on airers when I get home
- Ironing - didn't get to do it over the weekend
- Write shopping list for bits and bobs I need for Christmas
- Meal plan for next two weeks - I've got friends coming over
- Check my next pay packet
- Check online cc accounts
- start budget for next month

HAPPY BIRTHDAY RACHELMK, hope you have had a good day
Urg, hope the lap top dries out properly without too many disastrous concequences, although it was rather funny. The dangers of tea, its not as innocent as it looks!!:j Live on £4500, £2531/£4500:T 101 in 1001 (52/101):j:beer::j

Paid another £1 to GM Card.
Invested £21 is an electric hair clipper. I keep mine very short (no.1 or 2) so it should be easy to do myself. Will save me about £60 - £70 a year on haircuts. I could have got a cheaper one but the make I've got is what most hairdressers use (so a hairdresser friend told me anyway).0 -
Evening all, another big spending day for me today, i had to get some expensive medicines and bits and bobs. I got some aromatherapy stuff too to try and improve my lifestyle healthy way! I even made a smoothie today!! Yum!

The only good things have been that ive added loads to my sealed pot.
Tomo ill be at work till 9pm so no post but i hope not to spend anything tomo other than a drink or something at work.
Hugs to all feeling poorly and fed up....2009 will be the year for us all
