Candy hope all is ok with your nan, what an awful doctor to have to deal with, he sounds very insensitive and i think you have every right to rant, makes me angry just thinking about it.

mbaz, congrats on being half way, all that hard work is paying off, you'll be debt free in no time

Mickey hope the socks trick works for you!:rotfl:

Wasn't on yesterday as have been suffering with this cold lurgy for the past few days, so put myself through hell and forced myself to stay in bed or curl up on sofa watching carp tv all day:eek: All part of the plan to make me better for today, so i can get on with all my things!!

    So, today's list:
-Have washed up pots using up small amount of hot water that we get on a morning, only time the system is on
-Sorted out dry clothes on airers, put them there instead of using radiators as it costs more, surprised by how quick they dry
-Have stripped and made up bed
-Put lose change in sealed pot
-Continued using up old beauty products

-Will take meter readings and input in site
    -Place another matched bet
    -sort through emails
    -Do some surveys

    -Look for mystery shops
-Check all credit cards to see which ones need paying and when, so i don't incur any fines
    -Check online banking
    -Check freecycle

    -Make meals from storecupboard
    -Print out receipts for business
    -Sort out books for business
-Investigate tax things for business, not sure when i have to do these!!
    -Check business emails and optimisation
    -Spend fifteen minutes on marketing

    -Clean upstairs bathroom
-Do another wash on 30 and hang round house to dry
-Tidy, dust and hoover bedroom, ready for Christmas
-Get tree out of garage and decorations, so i don't have to fork out for any more
-Keep gas and elec off for as long as poss

-Work on adding new treatment to website
-Fill out application form for course and funding info that is needed
-Fill out application form for massage course
    -Read up on business site
    -Check out fave threads
-Check on freebie board for free things

    -Do daily scratch card
    -work on life plan
    -Sort out financial papers
-sort out pile of dried clothes and put away any i can get away with not ironing
    -Iron the rest

    -Check ebay for a bike

Think thats it for today, hope everyone has a great day, catch up with you all later.

    I'm back :hello: hello!

Candy - really hope your nan is okay, hugs to you
mbaz - you are fast becoming my hero, I couldn't be more pleased for you, am cheering you every penny of the way :j
mickey - the socks will work, have you plucked any stray eyebrow hairs as well, all makes a difference...
andan - just a hi :hello:

Have returned to work after a week and half off, so many emails and so much Christmas food!! this is going to work out very moneysaving...

I've been given £50 of Sainsburys vouchers, this means I use them for a couple of weeks food shopping and throw £50 at the card. Fantastic! and I haven't touched December's pay even though we were paid two weeks early!

    Today I have/will
    • bought in breakfast and lunch - not really necessary as loads of food here
    • charge phone
    • check online banking and spreadsheet
    • emptied purse into sealed pot
    • make soup from bottom of fridge - clearout ready for Christmas veg
    • ride horse

  • Not a lot.

    Will comp later;
    Have paid my Sainsburys credit card bill;
    Will write to the FOS following a letter I've received from them asking for more info relating to my request for my case to be fast-tracked;
Have brought in my own soft drinks to work rather than paying 40 p more in the canteen.
Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!
  • Morning all

Feelling a little less headachy & less snotty today :
    Charge phone at work

Take axe to work to get sharpened.
Give out Xmas cards at work.
    Wrap last prezzies tonight.

Not MSE but need to ring USA to finally get website sorted , as yesterday almost fixed but not quite
its a xmas presesnt to me to get it sorted out and up by the 25th.
