Kitchen floor swept and mopped. Which terrifies the puppy
I can only assume that as the house that we got her from had a laminate wood floor. She must have been swept up or mopped up when she was very young.0 -

Damn it! DiL's bought some food which requires refrigeration. There is no room! Methinks I need to dash out and buy a second fridge. There's a space just ~there~ if I rejig the kitchen.
The second mistake I made (first was the flourescent light) when I had the kitchen built was to think that a small built in larder fridge would do us. It doesn't. We've often had problems storing stuff.
Now is the time to put that right....
Off to Comet..I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Hiya
My friend and I were both due at Christmas. My son waited until January 9th and my friend had hers Christmas day. She saves pressies for boxing day now so her daughter can have a whole day for her birthday. I remember one year ds broke his collar bone and couldn't have his party so we had it when he was 6 and a half instead. All the invitations said 'come to my 6 and a half year party'. Everyone loved it!!
Pigpen - you're getting the exact same one as we've got including the colour. The only problems we've had are when it was delivered it was badly damaged - about half a dozen things wrong with it including dents etc. Anyway, eventually got it sorted and it's fab. Do you have to wait long for it?
A very happy birthday for everyone born Christmas Eve, Christmas Day or Boxing day - you're born on those days because your special (in the nice sense of the word). Hugs to all xx0 -
Oh and piggers - as I can only do the last two things on tomorrow's list I may as well start now if that's ok with you:rotfl: xx0

Haven't had a chance to catch up on the thread yet, been busy shopping, wrapping and my mum coming to visit. All presents got and wrapped except hubby's so that will be done tonight.
Kids played up last night until near 12 and i think it will be the same tonight so tomorrow there will be loads of walking and up early, don't want to be up really late christmas eve waiting on them to sleep.
Big thank you's to everyone who sent a card it is very much appreciated and :rotfl: at Bo's name being on some of them.
Valli glad your ok.
Right now to do abit more of the list.Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -
Went out this morning - two buses to get across town with 'work' xmas cards ('cause I was going to drop them off last week when I had lunch with a friend, but she has been off sick) only to find most of them have taken time off.
Then into town, did some shopping, home, dumped shopping, got car out, went to Mr S (not as bad as I feared) spent too much, came home, sorted box of crackers, wine, nibbles and took them round to friend ready for Thurs, came back, put shopping away, made a :coffee:and have now done a quick catch-up on the thread.
Hugs to all those dealing with unhelpful OHs ( being solo can be good)
Suppose I had better have a look at pigpen's list.0
