Shopping finally sorted and put away. Some of the veg is in the front porch as there's no room in the fridge and it's the coldest place in the house. I have two pots of stock on the go - one from the pheasant carcass at the weekend - smells divine! I'm going to freeze that until the new year - I have some venison in the freezer so I think it will make a lovely stew.

The other is the chicken carcass from Sunday roast. We'll have chicken soup tonight..

Might toddle up the road to best friend's house and drop off her present shortly. I need to nip next door later with the shopping for her. If I time it right, I might get a gin! :D

pigpen - yes i am nosey like your taste in cookers, how did the fire safety people get on with the kids this morning?

DD's 3 and 4 seem happier but Tiddles is still quite nervous and a bit scared in case there is more fire.. she hasn't slept through since it happened..

pigpen, did you get anything to eat?

Did I heck.. I've spoken to hubby, the insurance company and Comet (the shop not the reindeer) on the phone.

Opened my christmas cards.. thank you to everyone who sent them, the lovely messages and Lil_me and her rather wonderful postmen.. Now I need to stick up my cards..

I also found a curly eyebrow hair which needs plucking and yelled at DD3.. AGAIN that child is going to be locked in a cupboard until 5th January if she doesn't behave.

Piggers - we got the belling sandringham just after christmas last year when the oven died on us and we absolutely love it.

Excellent.. that's a great help.. I was undecided between the cannon and that one.. but someone elses experience is always a great help.. what colour did you get (just to be boring) I had the countrychef in the anthracite and while I loved it.. a change might be nice (though I just remembered WHY I got that colour in the first place)... BITS! ...

ok.. Belling Sandringham in Anthracite/black it is... now to ring the store!!

    Afternoon ladies and gent,

I have spent since 10.30 concentrating, very hard I might add, on completing Nos 12 on Mondays list and 15 on todays:D:D:D:D:D

Thank you everyone and to lil_me. My cards arrived today to. And thank you to those who sent cards seperatley.
GnB - big, big hugs for you. I know how you feel only to well :grouphug:

Gryfon - do you have a new phone per chance?:D

DH and DS have been upstairs for the last hour putting together DS Xmas present - his desk. I have to say I've heard no banging or swearing which does surprise me, so either it's going very well or not being built.

I have decided on a cunning plan. If I start flying later today then I won't have any flying to do tomorrrow morning. ;) Just up dressed and go. ;) So I'll give it another hour or so and then carry on where I left off this morning.

So you can now all sit back and watch my cunning plan go horribly wrong and give youselves a giggle.:p
