HEEHEEHEE... MY mothers vacuum cleaner just died on her...

fishy is in his new HUUUUUUGE tank and appears quite merry in there.. I'll go buy him a few friends after christmas.. unless someone loves me and wants to buy him some buddies? I need to get the pump working before I can get him friends really..

    I've left my list somewhere....

My chest is thick with gloop so I need to nip to chemist and I need to go purchase pork pies for my mother.. I'll write DD1 a list..

And there is STILL no sign of AF...

    Afternoon

Been to town/ DS1 sheared/ library books returned/ money transfered/ ISA funds still not arrived at their new home.

Turkey arrived whilst I was out and it is a bit bigger (actually a lot bigger) than I was expecting. I certaintly won't need the crown I ordered to go with it so that is already in the freezer with the the other bits I got at the same time.

Need to work out how long turkey will take to cook - do any of you cook yours on Christmas eve?

    Soappie - hope you surived
Skint_chick that is short notice to say they are not coming - is somebody poorly?
G&B hugs hun, you sound really tired. Cuppa and some chocolate?

I've just munched lunch so going to make some warm lemonade and then go up and do some more wrapping whilst the big kids watch tv - little one is out with OH

Oooh Rach - how annoying! Personally, I'd dump it on the steps of the town hall rather than round the corner!
Lil-me - :D:D so glad it arrived safely :D:D. I hope the boys enjoy it!
Iried - hope DS recovers quickly
    G&B big hugs hun
Pigpen - glad the loss adjuster's been. If I were you, I'd wait until the sales after Christmas to get your cooker.

The shopping is all done! Hurrah! Tesco wasn't too bad crowd wise but they had NO smoked salmon, parsnips or sprouts

So I ended up straipsing round another area of town going to the greengrocer there and Asda for the smoked salmon.

I really am exhausted now. Am just having a restorative cuppa before I unload it all from the car and find homes for it.

Valli - I just wish my two did wake at the crack of dawn. I always have to get up and be very loud on the way to the bathroom to wake them up. I'm not mean though. I do give them until 730am before I wake the household:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: . I'm the only one who finds it hard to go to sleep on christmas eve too:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: xx
We're going to my sisters Christmas Day. I will be asked what time I got up...not only do I love giving and receiving presents but I am STILL excited...now I know I'm not the only one!
Feeling much better but have not yet eaten. I have, however, ironed and cleaned the living room. I am half way through cleaning my bedroom and DS has finally come off here...
