I'll join you all at 2.30pm - have been putting washing away and putting more loads on again - I WILL CATCH UP WITH THE LAUNDRY!

Just 2 loads more to do including pet bedding - aka fleecy blanket on the sofa.

I'm sat here listening to christmas music off the internet (last.fm).

I knew it was to good to be true. 'The boys' are now on a screw hunt as they are convinced that there are screws missing that should have come with the desk.

I have told them that is perfectly normal. And, if they manage to build it with all the screws in the correct places they have done it wrong. But they don't believe me.;)
  • Hi everyone,

Just having a sit down for half an hour. Had 7 children round this lunchtime (including my 2) for DD2's 2nd Birthday (its today)!! and have got all the grandparents round for tea tonight too. But that's all organised...casserole in slow cooker already on, veggie casserole ready to go in the oven in an hour and birthday cake for afters...I made it last night...did a plain sponge traybake with pink buttercream on top and lots of dolly mixtures spinkled all over.

Other than the normal dailies when everyone has gone tonight and kids are in bed I need to:
    • wrap, wrap, wrap and
    • iron, iron, iron (if the wrapping all gets done)
The plan for tomorrow is to drop off the last few xmas cards in the morning then at Mums for lunch then DD1 and I are going to the Christmas Eve service at the church...we went last year and three years ago (not two years ago....due to DD2....I was in hospital 'til 10pm xmas eve!!) and DD1 loves singing all the Christmas songs.

A big dodgy :grouphug: to all those who are poorly or not feeling very festive for one reason or another and just in case I don't get chance to post later/tomorrow I'd just like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas!:xmassign:

How rude of me...forgot to say Thank you to all who have sent the cards. Got a few individual ones so far so I'm sure the ones from Lilme will arrive soon too. Although I'm not too impressed with the post today...got a card today from SIL with two inside from niece & nephew that they'd made and because it was obviously more than just one card it had already been opened...and you could tell it hadn't just come open it was ripped! How cheeky!

  • Hi!

I'm currently using the library pc so I just thought I'd say hello. Last night was our first in the bungalow :j and it's starting to take shape now that the carpets are down and the walls are painted. But there's still a long way to go.

I'll try & post again soon. Take care everyone!

Aw Sunnygirl you have a Christmas baby too. It's my DD birthday tomorrow. She'll be 6. Seems there's a few Christmas birthday flyladies as well if my memory serves me correctly.

Happy Birthday to your little one.

    Afternoon all,

I haven't caught up properly so hugs to anyone who needs one.

Xmas cards have arrived, thanks everyone ( especially Lil_me and her boys for the running of the Flylady PO )

I braved town to get my Sisters present , OH came with me in the end so i'm still unsure why he couldn't look after Ds2. It's not worth moaning though as it'll just cause an argument and spoil Christmas:rolleyes:.

HHC 3-3.30 anyone? I'm going to my Sisters at 4.30 so i need to get the last 2 presents wrapped and 3 snowman soups made. The house is a tip too so whatever i get done will be good.
