chocaholic110 wrote: »:xmastree: HI I would like to join please. I used to do a lot of flyladying and had a lovely clean housebut after having a very demanding baby nearly a year ago it has all gone to rack and ruin! We were intending on moving but due to a variety of factors we won't be for some time, so I need to make the house we're living in nicer!
I'm off work for a fortnight and have two older kids (14 and 10) who can help out so I'm intending to Flylady away the mess and clutter over then next week or two.
Hi chocaholic110 you are very welcome to join us especially with a name like that!!! You will be in good company here!. If you have done flylady before then you will soon get caught up and what better time to get started than when you have 'helpers' willing or otherwise!!!
Normally we have a different room everyday but as its Christmas week the list will be a bit different! anyway something new is added every day by our illusytrious leader pigpen and do what you can - you have your hands full with a one year old so dont beat yourself up when you have a bad day - we all do - remember babysteps and post what you did do not what you missed - there is no such word as 'failure' on here. Your house didnt get ina mess overnight so dont expect it to get tidy in a day! the support and encouragement on here is brilliant. Welcome to the very slightly mad house!

Having finished one duvet cover, I can say with authority that the floor in my study DEFINITELY needs washing
. However, only one duvet cover to go, and I will have reached the bottom of the pile (assuming nothing is lurking underneath it). I expect I'll have more by new year, but I won't be back until the 28th, so I won't be doing any more laundry here for a week!
Triker - have a fab holiday. Hope OH doesn't cause any problems...0 -
DH wanted me to do a bread pudding for him for tomorrow but I haven't got round to doing it - I'm thinking if I prepare it now, I could bung it in the oven in the morning and it should be just about ready for when he goes to work!NST #10 Steps 7K 2/30 10K 2/12 5 a day 3/30 NSD 0/20

OK, all you ironing freaks... what's the best method for dealing with kingsize duvet covers? It always ends up being a huge battle for me... I can never get the seams straight, and the middle never gets done properly either.
Don't iron them - they either go straight back on the bed or are folded straight away and that has to do!NST #10 Steps 7K 2/30 10K 2/12 5 a day 3/30 NSD 0/20
