I've already had one of my team in Leeds IM me to say can I be as late as possible as they haven't done their paperwork  That would be a bloke then... not thinking that end of year reviews need evidence until the last minute...

... and then thought, as I won't be able to fit my waxing appointment in this week due to going to Leeds/Christmas, I'd see if I could get a slot in the hotel spa on Tuesday morning, but the therapist is away over Christmas!!! What kind of spa lets the therapist go away at what is potentially the busiest time of year?! (And I've just found out that my room is costing half what it did last time, which will be a relief for my credit card!).

I'm making progress on the ironing though... iron one thing, so something else, iron another thing... etc...

*hugs* froddington. I think here it's just the fact that I don't feel too good, big two children seem to be at each others throats and last year I said I'd loose weight by this Christmas and I haven't, I also said I'd have my house in some sort of order and I haven't done that either :(

Well, it's been a busy day for DS and I. OH went out climbing at 8, I didn't even get my usual cup of tea. He did wake me at some point as he said I was "bellowing". He said I wasn't snoring, it was a very strange noise that he couldn't explain. I've been telling him all week that my lungs were warbling.

Before DS got up, I put the final coat of paint on the long lounge wall. I also did my dailies, and hot washed all the towels.

When DS was up and with it, we took the lounge curtains down and we've put a total of four coats of paint on the window wall, 2 base coats and 2 top coats, and the curtains are now back up!:T There is now just a short wall where the TV is, and the chimney breast wall, but DS is going to use the sander on that wall before painting. We should be able to do most of that tomorrow, fingers crossed. Apart from that, it's just a case of giving everywhere a quick vacuum and dust, and changing all the beds, so as far as possible, I will be doing Pigpen's list.

    Monday Mayhem..
    1. Make sure you have all the shopping you need to take you through to next week.. milk and bread especially! - Only need fresh veg, cream & cheeses
    2. Make sure the last of the presents are wrapped I will not have people sitting up while 5am on Christmas morning wrapping! - Oops. No wrapping done yet!
    3. Have we located stockings? - Yes, they're in the spare room, with the Christmas tree, which can't be put up until the lounge is finished.
    4. S&S the kitchen - as always
    5. S&S the bathroom/s and loo's - as always
    6. Clean the oven and hob ready for your feast! - then make it dirty doing some baking!
    7. Clean the fridge to accommodate you bounty of food - don't think I'll bother as my replacement fridge is arriving on Tuesday

    9. Make sure your timetable for christmas day is sorted and everyone knows their tasks.. who is spud peeling? Who is stuffing the bird etc..? - That would be me, me and me! Although DS does usually help with things like pigs-in-blankets

    11. Phone someone you 'forgot' to post a card to in time.. just so they know you've not forgotten them...- just found a card that fell off the table, so need to phone Lorraine!

    13. Change pet bedding and wash blankies etc.. we don't want them putting you off your christmas sprouts! - on my list
