From my prone position on the sofa i'm debating whether to go for a five or ten year fixed mortgage rate. We have 12 years left on the mortgage. If I go for a ten year then we can make overpayments of up to 10% a year which will mean that the mortgage will be gone in ten years. If I go for the five year one then we don't know what the rate will be when we need to re negociate. If we do fix and the rate drops we'll still be paying less than we're paying right now as our rate isn't good. Mmmmmm - decisions decisions. Going to give it another month or two to see if the rates come down a bit more. BTW only two more payments on the interest free credit card and that' gone!!! Yeahhhh!!!! There's a bonus to me being on the computer all day as i've sorted out our finances to within an inch of its life xx

Bloody things. I know they're here. Cos I tried them first to make sure they are OK. They must be up high somewhere, I think.

Places I hide stuff and find them 6 months later:

    - on your wardrobe
    - in your underwear drawer
    - shoved in a kitchen cupboard / drawer as someone walked into the room when you had them in your hand
    - in your wardrobe
    - under your bed
    - in a suitcase???

    Good luck xx
