    In my HHC I've:

Sorted out the recycling and put it out
    Sorted out the fruit bowl
Put 3 bags of rubbish in the outside bin
Filled another bag with paper recycling
Sorted out some of the bags that are cluttering up the conservatory.

Doesn't sound a lot does it!

My kitchen floor is covered in glitter because the kids decided to make decorations - settee is now also covered in glitter (after I hoovered it yesterday) because DD isn't wearing her slippers so the glitter is stuck to her feet and so on the settee!

Okay I'm going to carry on - another HHC 9.45 - 10.15 anyone?

    Can I join in?

I usually avoid this thread as it just makes me feel guilty, but I had a successful weekend clearing out my study & am feeling all enthusiastic.

    Hugs Hester

Hi Hester you are very welcome to join us!! And please dont feel guilty feel inspired to get things done!!!:rotfl: Your house didnt get in a mess overnight so dont expect it to get tidy in a day!
Normally we have a different room everyday but as its Christmas week the list will be a bit different! anyway something new is added every day by our illusytrious leader pigpen and do what you can - dont beat yourself up when you have a bad day - we all do - remember babysteps and post what you did do not what you missed - there is no such word as 'failure' on here. the support and encouragement on here is brilliant. Welcome to the very slightly mad house!

Won't have time to do most of it until I'm back late this aft but I'm using pigpen's great list as a base:

    Monday Mayhem..
    1. Make sure you have all the shopping you need to take you through to next week.. milk and bread especially! - tomorrow's job
    2. Make sure the last of the presents are wrapped I will not have people sitting up while 5am on Christmas morning wrapping!
    3. Have we located stockings? - they are all packed full too!
    4. S&S the kitchen
    5. S&S the bathroom/s and loo's
    6. Clean the oven and hob ready for your feast!
    7. Clean the fridge to accommodate you bounty of food
    8. Change any bedding you need to get washed before the fat guy arrives.. and I do not mean the OH/parent/ etc
    9. Catch up on the laundry .. ironing is tomorrows job!
    10. Phone someone you 'forgot' to post a card to in time.. just so they know you've not forgotten them...
    11. Spend at least half an hour doing something for yourself.. reading.. relaxing.. goggling... remember you are important too.
    12. Dust round the whole downstairs
    13. do a crazy HHC decluttering downstairs
    14. put away clean laundry - folded which is a start!!
    15. make list of bits needed until xmas: croissants, bacon, eggs, rolls, salad, mince pies, brandy butter, cereal, bread, peanut butter, fish, stuff for dh's aunt's sweets
ETA: I've also given up on MrT home delivery, fed up of the substitutions, am gonna try asda next time. We're at the in laws for Christmas day and other family for boxing day so i don't have as much to worry about as a lot of you!
