How much does Max look like Holly? http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v241/lil_me/Image009.jpg she was the rescue we took on day before Xmas eve 2006 (now lives with Matthew's Grandma) a little younger than Max on that photo, vet guessed she was about 10 weeks at the most. When asked what breed she was I just explained her Mother and Grandmother were right old tarts who didn't mind who they were with
people stop asking then http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v241/lil_me/DSC00240.jpg mine weren't allowed on the sofa :rotfl: well that didn't last long! (that was Luke and Holly having a snuggle) Luke does know he's not supposed to be on there and you hear him jump down when you come in the door. Holly has her own sofa and bed in her new Mammy's house, she gets into her Mammy's bed for a cuddle for 10 minutes then goes into hers
spoilt rotten! Holly actually came from Houghton aswell, not in the best circumstances as someone was going to shoot her
but she came to us instead.
Thanks for the well dones, well done to you too greenbee, will find more laundry tomorrow (never stops here) and I do have DSs sheets in the drier but the main challenge was getting the clean/dry 8 washer loads dealt with! I really should try harder at putting it away as it's done but the problem is I usually do loads in a dash. DP did do a small amount, moved most of his stuff, yelled at DS1 for which I had to tell him off for (was for not clearing his toys up fast enough) as DS1 had cleaned his crap up from the ledges with me! Anyway he did also bag some rubbish, which I then had to sort through as was some of DS1s stuff in the bag which I could see, so obviously half hearted attempt at it!
Sat with a bottle of Oxford Gold Organic Beer nomnomnomcheers everyone (No I'm not drinking it from the bottle, I have a pint glass

Thanks for the list again Pigpen - this one, even though it's longer, somehow seems more manageable for me.
It is only 2 things more than usual.. but some of them are really easy and some will already be done.. and one is a nice one..Do you have any friends who can help out
Not this timeYou were fine earlier, get some Bon Jovi on.:D
Ah.. but the world has fallen apart since then.. or that could just be me.. tesco aren't delivering because their substitutions I said I didn't want make me £25 OVER my bank account balance.. so no food it is!!Pink_Fairy wrote: »I forgot this very important message to all Flyladies (sorry, gents, it is gender specific)

Achieved today:- washed my hair/had a soak
- cleaned bath
- cleaned bath toys/binned unsalvagable ones
- moved toys and stuff DS1 took between rooms back to right place
- sorted out some photos for DS2's photo album toy, printed them and put them in, and then got that wrapped, so all is wrapped now

- write a cheque for DS1 for half day nursery on Tue, take him and pick up
- buy a TV guide, set up digi box to record things when we are away

Well, I'll have to be up early tomorrow as usual, as my car has to go in to have new front break pads fitted possibly (warning light keeps coming on), and I have to wait whilst they do it too as apparently it won't take long. Was just about to say I think I'll get an early night, but have just seen the time!
Oh well, all of the presents that we've bought (apart from one for OH's brother) have been wrapped by me this afternoon and evening. Just need to work out what on earth I can get for my Nan to go with the box of ferrero rocher that I'm giving her (bought for me by one of the children in my class). Gave her some books for her birthday today which my Mum bought for me, but I don't have a clue what else to get her. She isn't into smellies etc. She likes chocolate coated coffee beans from whittards but they've got so expensive, I refuse to buy them (£3.50 for 125g or 3 packs for £9)!
Well, best be off to bed now as OH wants to go on the computer now anyway.
Night night all, sleep tight!

I'll try to be in this week but I have plans which may take up quite a bit of my time
Monday Mayhem..- Make sure you have all the shopping you need to take you through to next week.. milk and bread especially!
- Make sure the last of the presents are wrapped I will not have people sitting up while 5am on Christmas morning wrapping!
- S&S the kitchen
- S&S the bathroom/s and loo's
- Clean the oven and hob ready for your feast!
- Clean the fridge to accommodate you bounty of food
- Make sure your timetable for christmas day is sorted and everyone knows their tasks.. who is spud peeling? Who is stuffing the bird etc..?
- Catch up on the laundry .. ironing is tomorrows job!
- Phone someone you 'forgot' to post a card to in time.. just so they know you've not forgotten them...
- Spend at least half an hour doing something for yourself.. reading.. relaxing.. goggling... remember you are important too.
- Dust round the whole downstairs
- do a crazy HHC decluttering downstairs
Now I'm off to bed... :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
pigpen, bummer, what a pain! I gave up putting an order in when I remembered last years delivery was an absolute nightmare, half the stuff I wanted wasn't there, subs were finest ranges, decided I will brave the shops on Tuesday, which will make me shudder! I might actually goto Iceland tomorrow and get them to deliver some stuff depending how the day goes.
((hugs)) for Michelle, we miss you when you aren't around too x
emily good luck and have a lovely Christmas, I was going to post my mobile BB modem for you to borrow but I can't find it anywhere! You'll likely be too busy to post at first anyway. Hope everything goes well for you.
sexymouse good luck with the nana present, mines a nightmare to buy for, well more so because she has everything she needs, there is over 20 of us (just grandchildren) who buy for her, she donates smellies etc to charity shops. One day I might be more organised...........

Pink - that tampon joke is just awful! But very funny!
Summer - Max is lovely! And DS2 is as well!
Pigpen - how awful about Tesco substituting more expensive stuff that you didn't ask for! What will you do now? Do you need a food parcel sent special delivery? If you let me know what you want, I can forage for it, package it up and post it...
Have had a nice relaxing evening. The chicken I bought from the butcher yesterday was lovely. I ended up watching Dave (the film about the look alike that stands in for the US President, not the channel!) and thoroughly enjoyed it. Did the washing up and put the sheets etc. back on my bed during the adverts.
I will look at lists in the morning
