Hi
I'm really glad for you if its genuine, and I know yours is an email, but I happen to work for Royal Mail, and you'd be surprised how many letters from abroad we get each week, telling people that they have won something, and just to send them the costs, and we get loads going out as well, people sending these letters back with money in them.
At the moment we're getting them from USA (Florida mainly), Canada and Australia, they seem to come in spates!!
So as the yanks would say "just be careful out there"0 -
I'v "won" lots of competitions without entering but as I do fill out some entries, sometimes I can't be sure as in your case.
If you are lucky enough to win, you might cop most dosh by selling it there as prices are high. Oz Ebay Motors maybe?

I really hope you have won - feel so excited for you. I never win anything but don't enter many competitions really. If I do, I feel so peeved when they have the audacity to not let me win!! Did win £10 on the lottery last week so maybe my luck has changed. There are three ways to get something done; do it yourself, hire someone or forbid your kids to do it.0

It would be great if you really have won.
But being a paranoid sort of person that I am. My gut feeling is no you haven't.
Why an earth would an Australian Honda Dealership let someone outside of Australia win it. As it way to much hassle on there behalf to get your prize, be it the car or cash.
Now if it had been a UK dealership might have been more inclined to believe it as I could drive to it myself.
To me a prize is where I don't have to pay anything to get it to me. So admin or legal fees etc.
There are some legit car comps out there. I know of two people who have won cars from internet comps. So it can be done.

I get emails that are supposed to be from Honda all the time. I have notified Honda to let them know, but they were too ignorant to even respond so now I just delete them.0
