Upgrading early on Orange

I have had my contract with Orange since July but I would like to get something a bit better. I am currently on Dolphin 15 Web Special (100 mins, unlimited texts) with a £5 loyalty bonus which cuts it down to £10 p/m.

Is there any possibility that I could upgrade early? I am interested in a Blackberry or another more internet focused phone.

You can ask to upgrade at any time, the cost of the upgrade will be higher depending on how long you have left. So, your 4 months in, you'll be looking at an upgrade fee of between £100 and £150 I'd have thought...

^it's actually changed, since about august i think
early upgrade fees only exist for high end customers which you are unlikely to be on a £15 plan
now you can not upgrade early even if you pay, you can only upgrade 3 months before the end of your contract

you may be better of just taking a blackberry on a data only plan (about £12-£15 a month i think on a 12 month contract, there is probably a charge for the handset) and using that in addition to your existing phone
by the time the 12m is up you can upgrade on your existing plan get a blackberry or something similar then
