Free BT line installation + free orange broadband?

I am looking at my home phone/internet options and was going to try this? I am currently with Virgin Media and paying nearly £40 a month for phone and internet, so would need a BT line installed to go with any other providers.
I see BT are doing free line installation until the 23rd (as long as you sign up to one of their phone packages eg evening and weekend calls for 18 months). My hubby is with orange for his mobile so think he should be eligible for the free broadband offer.
On looking at their site it looks as though the free broadband offer with orange requires you to take your home phone calls through them too. It therefore sounds as though this would make the two offers incompatible - is that right or does anyone know if there is a way to do this?
Thanks!

The BT Free Connection offer which ends on 23/12/08 requires you to
make at least 30 chargeable or inclusive calls via BT every three month period or 10 chargeable calls or chargeable inclusive calls per month if you are billed monthly.
Orange allow you to keep your line rental with BT, but require you transfer your calls to them to qualify for free broadband, you might still be able make the required number of calls via BT to qualify for free connection by using the BT override facility 1280,however their is no guarantee this facility will work in the future.
