They have rooms from £35 per night and the hotel is right on Piccadilly Circus. Cant get much more central than that. The breakfast is wonderful too :j

I've found a TL in convent garden for £75, anyone got any comments on that one? It seems a little closer. Thanks for all the info lily the pink and everyone else, if you can think of anything else Im still interested. Laterooms seemed a bit of a disappointment, not that cheap.

For that money I would go for the lastminute offers - travel lodge is anonymous at best. You can get pigsback points or other cash back with lastminute too.

The trouble with Travelodge is its miles away from the city centre and what you save at the hotel is spent travelling the long journey every day to the sites.

  • I recommend you wait a while before booking if you can.

https://www.londontown.com is the best for central london hotels as their prices are per room +VAT and I have never known them to be beaten for price.

Late June is when all the big 5* hotels start to become empty for the summer and on Londontown.com good offers become availablefor 5* hotels.

If you need to book now I recommend the link below as they have a WEB special of £76 per night for 25th & 26th June (£151:30).

The hotel is at the Park Lane end of Oxford Street.

Alot of people go to London and look for cheap hotels only to regret it when they start totravel to and from the "cheap" hotel.

Always stay within walking distance of the main reason you are in central london it will increase your enjoyment of the trip.

  • I have stayed at the TL Covent Garden and it is my hotel of last resort.

    Not recommended.
  • TL convent garden is one of the closest we have found for less than £100, What was wrong with it if you dont mind me asking? I've found cheaper than regent palace.

  • Well it is something I will keep in mind for other times but at the mo we just want soemthing fairly nice and cheap.
  • Does anyone have any comments on the Boulevard Hotel in Norfolk Place (or Square, I'm not sure). We're looking at there atm, just wondered if anyone had stayed there?
