The last time I gave blood was at the main centre in Edinburgh in the pouring wind and rain. Ended up fainting as I have really low blood pressure and told not to go back (which is fine) but the thing that peeved me off was that they gave me an ice cold orange juice and refused to give me tea afterwards. For some reason, the nurse was insistant that there would be no tea for me  So I was sat shivering in the centre for about an hour before they sent me home in the rain and cold gasping for a hot drink. First thing I did when I got out was go and buy a tea to put some heat into my body :coffee:
Have a blood pressure so low I'm technically a toddler :rotfl:Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0 -
can i join too?!
Bought a lime and soda water in the pub for 80p
showered at the sports centre
walked to the sports centre instead of drove
did three loads of washing and only used the tumble dryer for the bedding
made sandwiches for work
and best of all, ironed a pair of jeans which had been sitting in the pile for weeks, and found a tenner in the pocket!!0 -
