  • Not what you want to hear but now might be a good time to look at the weekends events and maybe see what you could have done differently for next time.

Drink less and make sure you trust the people you are with. Okay you say your drink was spiked but it's easy to know your limit with alcohol and stop before it gets to the situation where you don't realise you are drinking something different.

A couple of drinks with friends over the night is far more enjoyable the what you went through i'd have thought.

    Hi Abby,

I really feel for you, I had my drink spike on new years eve 2001 and its just something you never really get over. Drink plenty of water and maybe call a friend to come and sit with you?

I had a card stolen on new years eve a few years ago, I didn't realise until the next day as I still had my purse but my main bank card had gone. By the time I realised and stopped it they had already used it to buy a new car radio system  Eventually it got sorted (was someone from work who had a grudge), and I got all the money back even though it wasn't reported immediately. Hope you get yours back too :o

    .

I do not drink or get drunk as I have had recurring kidney infections and now my body doesn't metabolise alcohol very well. However I had two glasses (small) with a three course meal!

My Grandma has said she will replace £500 untill Natwest hopefully return it however I am loathe to do this as she has already bailed me out a few months ago. However my only alternative would be some form of crisis loan. There isn;t anywhere I can replace the money from
