  • Police Lady came round an hour ago and took all the details. She says she will check cctv and banks cctv and find out where the £500 was taken out. Natwest fraud aren't open till tomorrow

  • I doubt anyone reports a stolen card the minute it's stolen.... some people don't even realise until a statement drops through the door.... so hopefully the lapse in the time it was reported won't be a problem.
    I've heard of withdrawals being made at midnight, this means 2 lots of £250 can be withdrawn within minutes of each other, it also limits the chance of being caught using a stolen card.

    Seriously though, is there not a 24 hour bank hotline you can phone or something in case they try to take more out.

  • Yes all my cards are stopped.
    Its just I was due to move into a flat on 31st December. And that £500 was my first months rent. Luckily I have switched my income to my basic natwest account so the overdraft account can be paid of gradually.

    I have to speak to fraud investigation team tomorrow to find out if they can give me my £500 back.

    I'm just in such a state
