I had my bag stolen on friday night/sat morn and have reported it today (been asleep all of saturday) the thieves took £500 out of my account today.

Can I get it back I can't pay my rent

Get on to the police and report the stolen money, they should already have given you a crime number so you can use this.

Get on to your banks etc and tell them what has happened RIGHT NOW! give them the crime number and get all your cards etc stopped.

I don't know what the procedure is but the bank will be able to tell you exactly what to do next. But you must ring them before any more time passes.

Then ring your landlord and explain - say the police are involved so they know you are not just trying to pull a fast one and not pay your rent. If the bank have given you a timescale for paying back money lost, you can give the same timescale to the landlord.

Can I ask why you did not report it stolen sooner?

Also was it money withdrawn at a cashpoint or a internet/shop spent?

Hi ,
If you need money try your local Dole office. there is an hardship loan that you can get of the benafit people if its urgent. you will have to pay it back but you can do this a bit every week or month.

stop procrastinating and call your bank, credit card providers and police now. The banks should have some form of fraud cover and would be able to reimburse you, but if you leave it for a while, they would question your intentions. I'm sure your landlord would understand if you explained the situation.

My drink was spiked and I had two glasses of wine and I do not remember the events between12am and 3am Saturday Morning.

I have spent all of the daytime of Saturday being violently sick and being very ill. So I apologise for not taking the time between vomiting to make that call.

I woke up today at 4am and made the call straight away.

Also it was withdrawn from a cashpoint yesterday and today. So someone has made the effort. I did not have my pin written down, however I can only assume I was forced to give it up.

I injured my arm two weeks ago, it had been getting better. I can't fully straighten my arm out due to having a bruised bone and muscle damager. However yesterday and today I am in agony and it does feel like someone has pulled my arm.

Sorry to hear about this. Awful thing to happen.

You must phone the police immediately. If you are in pain with your arm too, I would go to the hospital and get that seen to also.

Contact the police asap, if this happened in a bar or public place, they may have access to any CCTV recordings.
