Have a look at one of my previous posts on page 1 for Q14.
I found this yesterday, but edited them all in one post rather than add another one.

I fancy Susie Boyt's book about Judy Garland for Q25 - but can't confirm it.
  • Homeburd - I think in 26, swap out Nadine Gordimer's "The Conservationist" and replace with Yann Martel's "Life of Pi"

Great effort to bring all the answers together.

I think you might be right with that one, have a look at the article in the times http://entertainment.timesonline.co.uk/tol/arts_and_entertainment/books/non-fiction/article4827228.ece

    Thanks

Sorry should have added the quote 'and to sit in Judy's own bathtub in Grand Rapids. “For a second I consider removing my clothes, but I'm not insane.” near the bottom of the article -
 No competition wins 2012 or 2013 but 2014 will be my year!:T

The Alison Weir bio of Henry VIII appears to have first been published in 2001 - link - it was a paperback version that was released this year. Sorry to bump (& add this) so late - but I think it would be better to go for David Starkey's Henry: Virtuous Prince.
latest win: LOTR: Moria - thanks to catz
    - I'm moving to Australia in April - will the competitions be any good there?!:rotfl:
