I may be wrong ( often am) but I heard Dawn French being interviewed about her biography Dear Fatty- and Fatty is what she calls Jennifer Saunders.

    43. is a photo of V. S. Naipaul, but I can't find a life story he's written about himself this year ??

    Have found this
"Looking and seeing are the subjects of his new book of essays, A Writer’s People: Ways of Looking and Feeling. It is an autobiographical work, but then, much of his work, fact and fiction, is autobiographical.
And, like all his autobiographical excursions, A Writer’s People is centred on the pain he feels at having no past. Born to an Indian family in Trinidad, he knew nothing of any family before his parents."

Yes! Could well be. Found this quote "In fact, the last story in the collection, also titled "The Pyramid," ends with the phone call to Wallander that begins The Faceless Killers."

Think we need to expand some of these answers. The instructions at the start say:

Answer each question, naming the book and author involved

So some of the questions want more detail (e.g. 16 - 25)
