Wine for Christmas - 30 bottles for less than £85

If you go here, and buy 2 cases, it comes to just under £85, delivered, for 30 bottles (and two free corkscrews
). The usual price is £95.56 a case, so by buying two you save over £111; and you only pay one set of postage.
Their wine is very reliable, and for that price you can't go wrong. You can even pay over 3 instalments - they just take it out of your account monthly, with no interest.
Just remember to cancel the plan, or you'll get a couple of full-price cases after three months. I join this every Christmas, and cancel in January. It comes in really handy over the Christmas season (hic).
I don't think there is a limit to how many cases you can buy; but it's probably not a good idea to arouse suspicion, as it is intended as a tasting club.

After a Money saving tip we used this club last year (direct rather than through the Sunday Times) and the wines were excellent, also got free tasting glasses and bottle stopper (not that it lasted long enough to need it!).
This offer works out around £2.67 a bottle so well worth having.
Membership was easily cancelled too.

Sounds good, how long does it take for delivery? are they quite good?0

I received my wine within a week and its good stuff too (all reds).
I've since cancelled my membership, saying I wanted to because I was moving house - so they aso cancelled any more mailings.
The girl on the phone seemed fine with it even though I had been a member for just 2 weeks.

They're really easy to deal with. The stuff comes quickly (they say within a week; but it's more like a couple of days).
The wines are guaranteed, too - if you don't like any, you can tell them and get your money back.0 -
The scheme is run by the Laithwaites group.
They are pretty reputable and the tasting notes are useful as it gives guidance on the best way to enjoy the wine and even when it should be drunk by.0 -
Can I ask, what reds did you get exactly?0

I've just read the T&Cs, and they are saying you can only have one case per household. I ordered two, and the order went through. I'll probably get an email or phone call on Monday.
I've had two cases in the past, so this must be a change in the rules.
One case delivered for £45 is still good value, though.0 -
Just to let you know - two mixed cases arrived today, complete with free corkscrews 8).0
