i'm with expresso , control panel , then system , then device manager under the hardware Tab
look down the list for network adapters
right Click on your wireless card and then uninstall it , it will then reinstall itself straight away and normally correct any driver issues
hi all thanks for the advice
i have tried the above and it has nt worked. The only thing under network adapters was "NVIDIA n Force networking Controller". Not sure if this was the item you meant but updated the drivers but there is no change. Still an orange and not blue light!!
Bought laptop from Staples about this time last year. I suspect it is just over 12 months so warranty will have run out..i will try and find the receipt.I imagine Staples will be not too interested and send it direct to HP if it is under warranty. If it needs a new wireless card any idea how much it will be to fix?0
