  • There's me!
    You're still not me.

And neither of you is me!
...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.

So you dont think you should apologies to Vinegartits even though you requested one from him.
How can you apologise to yourself?
  • Command and conquer, practising my skills ready for my return to work.
I can see why Felixstowe Dock is going to be changed into a theme park when you have managers like this in charge. I wonder what part of the theme park he will be in charge of?
    Any thoughts?

But that would mean I am pickles during the week!

I can assure you that I am all woman with no hint of a man (more is the pity, a man would be quite handy at the moment) :D inside me...oo errrr!
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

  • Read this thread with interest and just thought i would add a bit of news .

On Tues there was an announcement of a major `restructure` at the Port and that a lot of Staff jobs will go .
As i understand it it means possible job losses both in the Admin Offices and amoungst people working the ships .

People will find out imminently if they are affected and it will take 3-6 months to come into effect .

So i think we could assume the `all is wonderful` at the Docks theme was a tad optimistic ?

Gonna be very tough for those who lose their jobs with little else available ....

    .

Thanks Lear Jet, these are very scary times. Do you know if you're affected or how many will be out of work? My sympathies to those who who are worried, I hope the announcement comes soon so at least people know where they stand. Please keep us up to date or if you feel uncomfortable talking openly, feel free to pm me.
