Well my suspicions were right, I do indeed have a very snotty Pip now. Poor little chap is very grumpy and not at all well. Rang NHS direct and Doctor said I could give him the 2 months old calpol but Pharmacist wouldnt sell me it as they said he couldnt:confused:
I am just making sure he drinks plenty, keeping him propped up and giving him lots of cuddles.

Good news on the car front!!!! It did fail MOT but only on the wingmirror which will cost £50 including fitting so nowhere near as bad as I thought. Was so surprised I did think about asking them to double check!!!:rotfl:

Went to Costco yesterday with my friend and got a few bits, will budget a bit better next month and go again to stock up properly. Got 9.5kgs of Persil Non bio for a tenner!!

Pants news is I am over my overdraft already and dont get paid until next month!!!
Well I am off to make a mousse from leftover finger of fudges from Christmas, enjoy rest of your weekend all x x x

  • awwww, big hugs to little pip!!!!! i would watch his temp and if he starts to get too hot get him to baycall (do you have that down there) the out of hours service. They may be able to give you something to help.

at least next month isnt too far away pipsmum, only a week left of feb......... (where has the month gone?)

  • yeah keep a eye on his temp - dd2 had a convolsion because hers got so high - (she was fine its just a worry!) We do have the out of hrs drs its based at the hospital near a&e just incase you need to no! NHS direct are good and if they have said to give the calpol just get some and dont say its for pip or get oh to get it - the chemists can be a bit to much of a worryer....im sure the dr knows more......

we are really fine to our limit and are already getting £55 of charges this mth so finding it tight aswell - roll on march (but it a worry saying its only a week left of feb as the babies due in march:eek: )

    Hi Hampster:beer:

Snotty is currently in my arms snoring like a hippo!!:rotfl:

The mousse was yummy and so easy. It was:
    1 egg white whisked
half pint cream whipped to soft peaks
A handful of mini finger of fudges chopped then melted
Just mix it up and leave to set in fridge for a few hours

Yay mummy theres nearly another little baby!!!

Roll on March for all our sakes!!
