Pip is now in bed calpolled to the nines!!
Just been doing our Home buildings and contents insurance. Renewal from L&G was £563   so did some searches and found M&S for £223.86 with £30 Cashback from Topcashback and its a better policy!! :T :T
Need to renew OHs breakdown cover too so have found that with AA fo £40 with £21 Cashback which is better than RACs renewal of £50.50 :T :T Cant do it until 26th though but at least I know its there!!
Paid £22.99 off of Lucius, not a lot but it must all help right?
Had today off work again as Pip still poorly, Emergency leave comes off your holiday allowance though so I will still be paid it.
Need to pop into town tomorrow as we need more Calpol, got a 50 extra points coupon for boots so will use that. Need to get a few food bits for next week so will use my £10 gift voucher from Sainsburys, might pay another £10 off of Lucius as the voucher will save me money if you follow me!!
Going to look in M&S to see if they have nice foodie bits in date for next year as I have £25 voucher for there and if I get some biscuits, chocs, tea and coffee its then that will be my Paps Christmas present done. :j
Feeling OK moneywise at mo. Get a bit frustrated not being able to pay much off of Lucius but then keep reminding myself that we paid £601 for HIP without hving to borrow so big Yay really!!Debt at LBM [strike]£17,544[/strike] £5700:TOver £14,000 PAID OFF :T

Hi all
Thought I would show you some bits I have made for the Halloween party.
Here are some little tealight holders I have made out of Pips old Baby food jars.
The orange one is a jar with cellophane over it and Trick or Treat written on it, theres also a tippex ghost and some others covered in ghost tissue paper.
This one shows a door wreath Ive made out of an old wire coat hanger and some tissue paper
Really pleased with all of them. I also made some paper chains and also some garlands but they are all folded. I will take some pics of the room on the night of the party, I think it willlook really nice if I do say so myself!!Debt at LBM [strike]£17,544[/strike] £5700:TOver £14,000 PAID OFF :T

I also made my Christmas Mincemeat today and it smells really yummy.
I used 2 packs of suet = £1.59
2 packs value mixed fruit = £1.38
1 Bramley Apple = 50p
200ml Brandy = in cupboard anyway = 0
1 nutmeg = pinched from Nan! = 0
Brown sugar = 79p
1 lemon, juice and zest = 39p
I got 5 large jars out of it so much cheaper than if I bought it from the shops.
It will last 6 months in the fridge but doubt it will hang around that long!!Debt at LBM [strike]£17,544[/strike] £5700:TOver £14,000 PAID OFF :T
