Turkey or turkey crown? (Got bones?)

Turkey crowns-no wings-no legs. Just breastmeat on breastbone from a large bird so the breastmeat is plentiful depending what size crown you buy. I coat mine in streaky bacon and cover it and it has never been dry. The meat wont need as long to cook or take as long to thaw out. Im cooking mine on Christmas eve so on Christmas day it will be ready to slice easily. Sometimes I buy a crown-sometimes a whole bird-depending on the prices really. Yes its more expensive per pound but that is because it is only the very "best" part. No waste and good value I thought.Annual Grocery budget 2018 is £1500 pa £125 calendar month £28.84 pw for 3 adults0

Well I ended up buying a crown from Somerfield but it's only a medium one (all they had) and I'm concerned now it wont be big enough for the 5 of us.
Four adults and a child .....and at least 3 of those adults are locusts. :rotfl:
Think it will be enough or not? :undecidedHerman - MP for all!0 -
well you have bought it now so in a way it has to be enough If you think you may need more - what about a ham to go with itJohn0

I always buy a Crown. I bought mine in Sainsbury's yesterday (cost about £15) and it says it feeds 6. There will probably just be myself, OH and DD but MIL may join us so plenty of meat for us.
Didn't yours say how many it serves? If not mine was £6.99kg and cost £15 so you could work it out from here.
I used to buy M&S crown but it's just too expensive. Same size, admittedly with stuffing would have cost me double as it's £13.99kg.~Laugh and the world laughs with you, weep and you weep alone.~:)
