Old model, previously reduced to £145. (Which is still the best price anywhere else). Can collect in store.:D

    Likely typical Bose sound, superficially 'deep' but it's actually a one-note bass 'honk'.

    It's excellent value. It's far and away the best sounding docking station I've heard. I bought mine a few years ago when it was £249!!!!

    It's a bargain.

    Actually, I bought one in John Lewis last month for £125! Not sure if it was a local deal to get rid of old stock - Welwyn Garden City store.

    I was very temped by this but I have a 2nd gen classic so it willplay but wont charge. Quite like the look of the Klipsch systems but coming up against the same problem.

    Can anybody recommend a decent docking station that charges as well as plays?

    This is just what I need - my present from DD was her old 2nd generation ipod, now I need some decent speakers to go with it.:confused:

    Hi I got bought these Bose speakers for xmas. I have the new ipod touch and it charges it even though it says it wont :confused: so I am happy :D

    don't buy the iDAB radio adaptor for ipods to use with Bose...it's not compatible even though shop assistants etc swear it is.........as we found out :-(
