I really like the look, price and excellent reviews of the Klipsch systems but I really want a system that will charge as well as play
Problem solved, I'll just wait a few months for the latest model.

Bose are awful quality, anybody who knows anything about music knows what a laughing stock they are - they just spend loads of money on advertising to persuade gullible punters that they make high-end products, when in fact they are tat.
I'd stop short of saying that they're "awful" or "tat", but they're overpriced and deal very much with style over substance.
Their marketing is high budget and they make stuff look nice but from a purely sonic perspective they're below average, which is why they're largely ignored by hifi specialists.0 -
We took our Bose back and then ordered the Kliptsch from the recommendations on this thread....it arrived today it's miles better so thanks very much indeed!0

Just to add, this can be used with the iphone, but it doesn't charge it. My sister was told it would charge, but it doesn't so she had to take it back.0

Our Kliptsch charges our ipod....not an ipod phone though0

The new klipsch model available in March that Gambler posted above, will charge the iphone though. I'm going to wait for that as hubby has 2nd generation touch.0

I just noticed this text in the link aboveNow Unavailable until March 2009
We apologise that this model is now unavailable for supply until March 2009 as we are working on the next generation iGroove which will offer full compatability for charging with the latest iPods including the 4th Gen Nano, 2nd Gen iPod Touch, 6th Gen Classic and iPhone 3rd Generation.
