and your mate is worrying you without cause as I suspect.0 -

Ran that and it said my Downsteam Actual Speed is 1957 Kbps(244.6KB/Sec) and the TRUE SPEED (estimated) is 2113KBPS.
Upstream Actual speed was 242 KBPS(30.3 KB/SEC) and truse speed (estimated) was 261 KBPS...
Means nout to me...0 -

Thats a fine connection rate for 2meg so no worries there then.

No or I would of said thats a rubbish speed but its fine :beer:0 -
I'm still on the old 1meg yet to be up-graded to 4 meg, now i'm not that bothered about this. But i do pay £25 a month. I rang telewest last sunday and blagged them that NTL had offered me the same package but for £15 a month.
Now it works out that NTL are buying out telewest and it will all be completed by the end of summer.
But wait for it the fella at telewest went onto the web page and told me that the package i would be getting would be the telewest package but for £15.
So outcome was next day to ring customer services and get my payment reduced so i now get 1 meg for £14.99 a month but when my speed is increased to 4 meg i'm going to have it downgraded to 2 meg. But will still be paying £14.99 a month
I'm well pleased with this.0
