Unlock a Sony CMD-Z5 (old phone)?

Hi, wondering if anyone knows if they can unlock a Sony CMD-Z5, its quite an old phone and is used by my mum, she wants to change network but it is locked to T-Mobile. I have a serial cable for it but dont know what software etc. to use?

Can anyone help? :beer:
