  • I know it's probably a bit of a pain for you but really, how thoughtful of him. He must think a lot of you.

I saw a fantastic recipe the other day where you put a small bird inside a slightly bigger bird and then that one into a bigger bird again etc.etc, up to maybe five birds and then roast the whole lot altogether. I'll see if I can find a link in a minute.

What a pity he hasn't sent a couple of chickens or something like that....................

Moving house and no forwarding address gets my vote .... unless of course, you're particularly into percussion and wind instruments and fancy a bit of animal husbandry :D
... don't throw the string away. You always need string! :D

I'm wondering whether Rosieben's been at the mulled wine a little early perhaps? Percussion and wind instruments? The only wind we're likely to see in these parts this Christmas is brussels sprout related.

Anyway I'm planning a cleanse with raw food this Christmas.

....... erm ...... apropos nothing at all - how big is your garden? Is it perhaps big enough say for a few eglus, a largeish herd of fresians and a pear orchard - just wondering :)

There really should be some warnings about the kinds of wild mushrooms it's safe to eat. What are you all on about?

  • Aren't these gifts things your meant to get from a true love? Maybe OH should be a bit concerned, or is your former admirer being a bit presumptious about your feelings?

Hope you have a big freezer Julie, and a big pan for those carcasses. Perhaps you could get a few more carrots, celery and onions for the stock?
