  • Read what Quentin Wilson has to say on this subject in the sunday mirror every week, some of the cars he finds cost so little it's unbelievable,if people have a trade in they will be shocked at it's value but one out weighs the other, hopefully.

Have you seen any evidence from private sales or car dealers that prices have dropped ? I am afraid I haven't.

Yep. 2005 Mazda MX5s which were selling for £10k in September 2007 were selling for under £6k in September 2008.

Some more information on the car would be useful and what you view as the "right price". It may be that you are being too ambitious in this climate but there are plenty here who can advise.

Well at least you're getting some interest - so many others, trying to sell, only get calls from other advertising agencies.

& the 'right' price, is simply whatever anyone wants to pay for it, on the day you want to sell it!

If you check http://www.sure-sell.info/ you might find auction the easist way to go.

My Father recently sold his 2 1/2yr old audi a6 2.7 quattro avant - fully loaded with every option available for £8.5k so I'd say prices are tumbling all right!
