If you're getting an iPhone, you'll need a iPhone tariff - and you'll only get one from O2.
Consider though, why you want an iPhone. What's it ACTUALLY going to do for you? Lots of people I know had iPhones, and hated them. Everyone where I work, bar one person, has now swapped for a BlackBerry Curve.0 -
hadnt ever thought of a blackberry thought they were for business ? wat makes it betterBetter to understand a little than to misunderstand a lot.0

I had an iphone and didnt like it, as for wanting one, there are ways and means of being able to get one and stick to being on vodaphone.0

I have an iPhone and i love it, then again i am a apple fan!
I like the simplicity of the iPhone, everything is done by touch and you have no buttons that can call people. The best things are the iPod feature and the safari browser and the wide range of apps, both purchased and free!!!
The downsides are the battery life- yes it is quite abysmal, however with wireless turned off it lasts about two days - two days i shocking to some people but remember the whole screen has to be lit!!!!
Another issue is the texting - if apple released an update allowing people to text landscape it would be great.
Finally if you think that 8GB is not enough for you, buy a 16GB, just dont think with your wallet and buy the 8GB and then moan like many people have done!
I would throughly recommend the iPhone, a word of caution - dont buy one that has been "Jail Broken" as you run the risk of the iPhone being locked again and it can even be disabled!!!!!
I do not work for Apple or O2, neither am i affiliated with these organisations in anyway.......:beer:In My 'Permanant' Pre-Masters Gap Year

I work for o2 and the most common upgrade I have to cancel is the Iphone. Go and play with a demo in store a few times before tying yourself down to another contract.Work like you don't need money,Love like you've never been hurt,And dance like no one's watchingSave the cheerleader, save the world!0

whats the problem that people wanna cancel ?Better to understand a little than to misunderstand a lot.0

I have an iPhone 16GB unlocked on my existing Orange Tariff with an unlimited "fair usage" data bundle and I love it. It's the best phone I've ever had.
Yes it has it's up's and it's downs, but it has everything I want need. I no longer have to carry around my iPod and a phone as it's all in, the internet is brilliant and I use all the time - it's my small external computer out and about, plus the multi-touch, texting and calling is the best ever. I would never ever go back to a phone with physical buttons. I might considering moving to another all touch phone, it is was as great as the iPhone, but there isn't anything out there at all that beats the iPhone (for what I want/need) at the moment.0 -
The iPhone is something you either love or hate - I have yet to see an opinion in between. It not having certain 'essential' features such as MMS and copy/paste and stereo Bluetooth means some will never warm to it - people who neither use nor expect features the iPhone doesn't have will love it completely because it does the things it does so incredibly well.
Personally, I have reasons to like and to dislike the iPhone I have but looking at all the phones available I would not swap my iPhone for anything else. It is something I could use for years and years (or until the next big thing in mobiles comes along )0
