What are cross net minutes?

i was just looking around and found this deal

can somebody tell me what cross net minutes are...is it same network to network or any network?

It's to a different network than the one you pay your money to...

for example my DD is on Orange, I am on Vodaphone, when she calls me she uses cross net mins, except she texts me and asks me to call her.
