I've found Tesco nappies to be quite good and not had too much trouble with leaks etc. It depends on the babies ages, but if there in size 3 or over I found the Tesco purple packs do fine, the active ones I think.

Pampers are expensive but you could always look out for offers, sometimes these make them cheaper over Tesco.

Do You have an Aldi near by? they sell nappies called MAMIA these are made from pampers or part of the pampers ltd group if i remeember rightly

I prefer cloth But I seem to remember reading somewhere that tescos are really pampers in disguise. They worked fine for me when I did use them anyway, although they smelt very chemically.

ETA and my baby fits in pampers better than huggies.

I personally didnt think pampers were any good. I used tescos own when dd was teeny then i used lidls own until she was trained.
Pampers and huggies always smelt funny to me and they both leaked

Lidl nappies are fab.

They are just like any other nappy, not plasticky like many people think.

They cost £5ish for a big bag, either 56, 50 or 44 depening on size.

I like my Pampers, they seem less bulky. Tried tesco value lol, still have a few lurking, can't seem to use them up. But now I have three huge bags of tesco purples courtesy of MIL and though I prefer pampers I guess I'd better get converted for the near future. But they do seem stiffer, although maybe less leaky.
Did not like Toujours from Lidl and used Sainsburys own when J was a pup. Oooh, and huggies were the softest for newborn I thought.
How complicated can this be?
Price-wise, there are plently of offers on all the time, unless you're going value, the prices are similar.

Aldi's mamia ones are great, I use them on my 2yr old. Also the lidl ones are good too. Much better than tesco ones I find. Ex pamper and Huggies user now unless they are on a spectacular offer. Aldi wipes are good too.
