We booked our holiday on Sat, was a bit over budget but did include insurance and breakfast. Also booked the carpark for the airport.

Going to be a bit of a tight month , may have to use some of savings towards the costs and money to spend etc.

Things are going Ok so far this month. Got paid this week and so far haven't gone mad. i bought a air bed as my friend was staying over and we needed one anyway.

Went out thurs night with my friend and actually managed to spend not too much for London, so pleased with that.

Went to Primark today and took back skirt that was too small. Managed to get a few bits for holiday for cheap. got a towel for 5 pounds and got OH one too, also got some sunglasses for 2 pounds. I always lose unglasses so much better to get cheap ones. I also bought a couple of birthday cards for 1 pound each and a roll of wrapping paper.

Haven't really got much left to get for holiday . Need sun lotion and also i wnat another dress but dont really need one!

    HI Wendz

Haven't been through the whole diary but it looks like you are doing really well. All those steps you have been taking will get you to that goal.

Enjoy the holiday - it's nice to have something to look forward to!

Have had quite a productive day so far today. I cleaned the sides in kitchen and did washing up. Also cleaned the bathroom and washed my sheets which are now hanging to dry.

Then i went to asda and managed to be quite good , even bought 3 packs of chicken , 2 packs of mince and 2 packs of back and still didnt cost too much. Did also sneek in two books for holiday and a pair of flip flops. They were things i was going to get anywa though and cheaper in asda.

Lets hope the rest of the day is as productive. I am hoping to:

    Clean cupboards in kitchen
    Clean Fridge
    Defrost freezer
    Clean Oven

Haven't been on for a while as have been on holiday in zante. Had a really nice time and was just what i needed.

Running a bit low on money now so might have to dip into extra bit of overdraft but will be able to pay it back from June pay as don't have to put any aside for holiday stuff.

Myself and Oh are looking to buy a house, either with the help of my lovely parents or through keyworkers scheme as he has just got accepted into the police. We will start looking shortly hopefully.

Only 6 weeks till payday now. Found out i was meant to get my payrise earlier than i thought and should have got it this month but will get it next month instead and backdated so will be a nice bonus. Also good that will have a little bit extra a month from now on. Although am paying student loan now, which takes a chunk of that away.

Not doing too bad moneywise with a week to go. I need to get petrol this weekend as am driving to southampton, also going out Sat but friend is driving so will just get some cheap drinks.

Well i managed to be good on drinks front last night. Only had two drinks and a burger so only spent 7 pounds which is good for me.

Got laptop sorted yesterday, involved a lot of arguing on my dads side but eventually managed to get an exchange, was a more expensive model but they knocked off half the extra. Does add to my debt a little bit but at least is hopefully a better model. Seems to be working well so far.

I have been doing well on Dooyoo this week and am now at over 10,000 points. Did two reviews today but didn't do one yesterday so still on the one a day goal

We went to The tower of London yesterday, was good but expensive so now living off a pound till Thursday! Thankfully have done food shopping so i won't starve.

Dooyoo is still going quite well on 12,000 now. Only another 38,000 to go... the 50 pound cheque will be a great boost to the overdraft fund though.

Not much else to report on the money front, not done too well this month in 5 pounds a day challenge but am more hopeful for next month

WEll I don't know why I am awake this early, don't need to get up for an hour! OH woke me up when getting ready for work.

I got paid yesterday yay! Got quite a lot going on this month so going to try and be careful when I am not doing the things I have planned.

Nothing else has come in for 5 pounds a day challenge, was a bit of a rubbish month but still 60 quid i wouldnt have had if i hadnt done the challenge.

Lets see if I can do better June!
