Hi Wendz86,

Just been catching up on your diary. Well done for not having a drink - it's so hard especially after the crimbo period!

I'm pretty much on a change of lifestyle in ever sense for 2009 so lots of planning, organising etc on my diary....actually it's just a place for me to yap away to myself :rotfl:

I need to get on and register with some of the survey sites etc - what is the scratch card thingy?

It is always good to start organising yourself.

The scratchcard thing is that you join a bingo site (for example interbingo which I joined) there is a free scatchcard everyday. You will need to deposit ten pounds.You scratch it and get 10p min and then you can withdraw your ten pounds but keep playing the scratchcards everyday. When you get to over ten pounds you can withdraw it.

Got a free pound on the scratchcard today plus won another 10p. Hopefully will get another ten pounds this month from that. I am on 5 pound 50 ish at the moment.

A couple of my survey sites are near redemption which is good, so hopefully get a few new surveys.

Have also been very good with the spending and am not quite so worried now about the month. My main expenses left are going to be Daryls birthday, which i need to get him one more little pressie, also said i would take him to zoo but trying to find a voucher for that and we are going to pizza express with the buy 1 main meal get 1 free voucher, how very mse of me hehe

I also have a friends birtdhay meal next weekend, but won't be drinking so will be cheaper.

We will do our weekly food shop tonight, hopefully do as well as we did last week which was only 10 pounds each for the week.

just reading your diary as i am also spending less and making more!!

have you tried mystery shopping? there is loads of info about it in the up your income board. i make at least £100 per month off it and i get loads of free meals and things. this weekend i am going to casino, diy shop, supermarket and two restaurants. you get paid for going and reimbursed for your purchases!

Thanks for the reply. I have read about that but i saw you have to sign up to have tax taken off etc and seemed a bit complicated to me. Might have another look though.

Well everything is still going fairly well. Was a bit silly and signed up to another st miniver site for some cashback, ended up having to play my bonus ten times over but got back 17 pounds in the end and if the cashback works another ten pounds. Bit too much hassle if you ask me though. Bit worried about them finding out i am on both sites too.

Anyway went food shopping yesterday, didn't do as well as last week and ended up 17.50 each, but still pretty good for a weeks shop.

Got 10p on my scratchcard this morning and also have redeemed another ten pound voucher on bingoport, getting quite a few on there, going to think of something to spend them on.

I have been very good on my diet this week and have done pump it up twice this weekend, my legs kill though.

I signed up for takeabreak scratchcards today and won 25p and withdrew my ten pounds, hope that doesnt take too long to come back. Got two lots of 10p on my other one.

Got another bingoport voucher last night so twenty pounds this week so far, going for another today.

Am off out this afternoon to go buy a couple of birthday presents.

Well wasn't entirely good at the shopping. I bought a pair of dolly shoes for 8 quid and a work top for 6 quid. Also got my friend a bag for her birthday and my bf a couple of dvds for his. Wasn't too bad though and did decide instead of buying wrapping paper i am going to make some my self for my bf so that has saved money!

Today is going ok, got 10p x 2 on scatchcards. Have done a couple of onepoll as well.

My friend is going to see we will rock you tonight and last night text me asking if i wnated to go as someone had dropped out , so am going to that tonight. The tickets are free and is just down road from my work so will be good!

Well the not drinking hasn't gone too well as ended up having a couple of drinks last night. Ah well, not going to drink this weekend so at least am cutting down if anything.

I ended up spending 12 quid on drinks last night including one for guy who got us tickets for we will rock you. Also spent 6 quid today at boots on tissues, conditioner and shower wash. Did get the shower wash BOGOF and also 1.50 off conditioner and got boots points so not too bad.

I am trying to be fairly careful with money as am going to see the !!!!!cat dolls end of month with a friend and need to give her 45 quid so if i could pay her that end of month ratehr than with next months pay would be brill.

Don't beat yourself up about the drink, I always think you have got to be naughty now and then, or its impossible to stick to! Probably not quite the right attitude, but works for me!

And you've got to spend some money on having a good time too without feeling guilty or whats the point in it all?

I really want to see 'we will rock you' would you recommend it?
