Paul if you want to freeze brussels you need to blanch them first ( cook in boiling water for few minutes) this stops them going manky, or cook them completely and then freeze.;)Paulgonnabedebtfree wrote: »Paid another £1 to a credit card. However, had to throw away about 30pence of food. I froze some fresh brussels then stored them in the fridge. They absolutely stank this morning and were soggy. I wouldn't risk them in my guts. Seems like I shouldn't have frozen them maybe. I'm not too used to home cooking like this but I thought most things could be frozen.

Yay! Used my valued opinions Tesco voucher to get the Roger Moore book half price
(so £9) and the remainder to buy cold and flu tablets  Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0 -
Afternoon all!!
Feeling bit low today so reading that we are going to have a Virtual party really cheered me up! Count me in!_party_
Having a cack few days but trying to stay on the straight and narrow. Due to volumes of washing I've had to use my tumble drier. NOT happy!!
So here goes for today:
* 2p DS found on Mothercare floor has gone in sealed pot along with £1 coin
* PAD £1 to Studio Account
* Dad brought bag of groceries over courtesy of Mum (can't see her as she is quite poorly and she doesn't want anyone getting it!)
* Tried doing survey but lightspeed keeps mucking up on me
* Storecupboard tea (beans on toast probably!!)
Um...thats about it...Bit shameful really
Miss P

I love a party!!!!:T
Not feeling myself today and I can't decide if I am winding down before christmas or if I have got a lurgy.
I'm at work and am desparately trying to find the motivation to be getting on with stuff.
Here's my list for today- BF has already hung the washing before he left for work (bless him)
- some ironing - even if its a little bit
- bread in bm
- work out the confusion that is my savings account. I'm putting in all my overpayments for 0% cards so I can earn a little bit of interest before paying off the card but I can't work out how much money is allocated to each card! Need a better system!
