How do I close my Egg card?

Because for most people (not you) this information is advantageous.
People sometimes need proof of purchase when they are invoking a warranty or insurance claim. Also some people need to put interest they receive on their self assesment tax return form.
I used my Egg statement for a warranty issue once where I'd mislaid the receipt.
It saved me £70 on an electrical item as I got a brand new replacement, so it was a useful service for me.
Egg clearly think the benefits outweigh the risks for customers as a whole.
Do you think you might be "over egging" the risks a little? (pun intended :-)0 -
Just wish they could keep their word, i told them if I ever needed proof I was happy to apply and pay for it. My whole annoyance rests of them assuring me they would do something and then backtracked, I don't trust them now.0
