Oh and had a reply back saying completely geniune seemingly and will be back in less than 4 weeks so time will tell

99.9% of Nigerians use mobile phone on GSM band, before the advent of mobile phones in Nigeria Fixed landlines are virtually non existent except in gov offices and multinational coys, and every phone in Nigeria can make international call except where it is an official phone that is barred By the persons employer.right a new question for you techie folk

I know pple in Nigeria working with multinational oil firms and thay ring me every week.
As for tracing IP addres in Nigeria it can be a bit difficult cos greater percentage of Nigerians still Use public Cyber cafe which scammers have access to,
I will advise to forget about IP address but focus your attention on the tone of emails.Though the vision may not be the true future of man but it can't be completely beyond his control.0
