I've seen in O2 student website, that XDA mini costs only £25 + 12 month contract.

if u go to a o2 shop u can get it for £80 and get £30 off for any old mobile, then u can get it on the data 5 tarrif for £9 a month, which might work out cheaper for you.

Most of the shops refuses to do this. I've got a XDA EXEC in early this month through this option. At least in london most of the shops either withdrawn the catalogue / refuse to accept this.
