    Evening all,

not much to report today except a no spend day:T :T :T . DH called tonight, the goalposts keep changing re: work, he might be abroad until September now. If this is the case, I will be going there on holiday, but it won't affect my budget as he would be paying. He is in charge of entertainments, so that would be one:p .

I'm going to dig out the knitting pattern book I've got with the toys in it, I would like to make some for the wee fella for next christmas. I know this one has just passed, but it would probably take me a year to make one thing.:rotfl: :rotfl:

I'm filling in my spends into my wee book everyday and will put these into the spending diary at the end of the month with my DD's. Then we will see how I have done.

Marru, you have some amount of books, how did you get all of these? I think in this case, you have done the right thing re: the shelves, if you get rid of those boxes alone, you will feel a lot better. I don't know if you could try and find a 2nd hand book shop, would they take a load of them off your hands all at once? Make sure you look at them all though in case of any valuable ones lurking about.

    Speak later all, xx

Oh dear... forgive me Lord, for I have sinned.

Had a lovely start to the day, spent nothing, homemade lunch, nipped out to post a letter (Martin's DVD offer), spent 75p on a Curly Wurly and some pop, went to sisters for tea (lovely Quorn spaghetti bollognaise), got the bus back (£1.05) as it was freezing outside and couldn't bear the cold walk back. So a nice low spend day.

But then... I go and spend £50 on a ticket to a gig tomorrow.

I am almost ashamed to say who it is for, but go on then... New Kids on The Block! :rotfl: I loved them as a kid. I am going to retire, embarrassed to the corner to think about what I have done :rotfl: Sure it will be a very entertaining evening though ha ha.

So spending way out and I will reign it back in next week. And the week after... and the week after... :rotfl:
