I was sorely tempted by the lucky dip. I wonder what it's like.

I bought the lemony snicket audio books and then managed to spend another £27 :o

I ordered them very early this morning and received confirmation almost immediately :j
  • Thank you very much for this post, Claire21 - if the book I have ordered arrives in time for Christmas, you will have saved the day!

A couple of months ago, I ordered the autobiography of Sir Edmund Hilary for a friend who is a climbing/hillwalking addict - thought it would be perfect for a Christmas gift. Waited weeks - then company writes to say book is out of stock! I could not get it anywhere else, either. I thought I was stumped!

But I've just discovered 'Wainwright's Favourite Hill Walks' on Bananas, for a bargain £2.50. An even better choice. And it was in stock, so I've ordered it!

    Cheers m'dear :-)
